This half-term has been so busy. We have had a disco bingo night, the Iftar, Mother's day cream tea, Red nose day and today.... BLETCHLEY'S biggest Easter egg hunt! We also had our fantastic Easter competitions judged by MP Callum Anderson.
We have had a memorable term and the children have enjoyed it so much. I hope that they have a lovely rest over Easter and come back raring to go on Monday 13th April.

This is a great example of the types of things we can give out on children's birthdays! What an amazing treat from Eduard's mum! Thank you!
The children enjoyed it.

The children in Tintern and Turvey had a wonderful time at Thrift Farm to consolidate their previous topic learning about farms. Some children even said they wanted to be farmers when they grow up!

'I'd love to give a huge shoutout to the Foundation team for taking the children on the farm trip. Despite the variety of weather conditions experienced, they clearly had a great day and some lovely memories were made'.

Whitby Class have been enjoying their art topic about Romero Britto. They have been using his pictures as inspiration for their own paintings. They used bright primary colours to create a piece of line art and retrieved their knowledge of tints and shades to make lighter and darker colours. What wonderful work Whitby! Well done

KS1 have been asking the question, How do boats float? We used tin foil, paper and straws to investigate how to make a floating boat. The children had so much fun, especially when we tested them!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Karate Kids! So many of you passed your grading last week and Sensei was very proud of you!
'I would love to give a very special shout out to Zi, Ayden, Ilyan, and Khayal for their incredible commitment, persistence, and resilience. Since joining Karate, they have grown so much in both maturity and discipline, showing real dedication every step of the way. We are so proud to celebrate their recent achievement of earning their blue belts in their very first grading. This is a fantastic milestone, and they should be extremely proud of themselves. We certainly are'.

'I want to bring this to your attention that Mrs Brown is really assisting my son to achieve a better performance in mathematics and his attitude towards the subject is changing for the better! Pride applied what Ms Brown taught him and we are all thrilled. I have observed Mrs Brown reminding my son to attend his maths boosters, it is amazing as she keeps him busy and checks on him, I appreciate it. A Big Shout Out for Mrs Brown. Thank you so much, keep it up and this will go a long way in the future of Pride’s educational journey.

Well done to Lya! She got an award at gymnastics this week! Well done Lya! What an achievement.

'I want to give a huge shout - out to the incredible Miss Hawkins. Max's speech, understanding and learning has come on leaps and bounds, and we could not be more thankful. From what I can gather, he listens to her much more than he listens to me or his Dad! Thank you to Miss Hawkins for being an amazing addition to the Hive and Abbeys team, you really are making such a difference'.

'Shout out to the wrap-around club'

Mrs Moir MUGGED Mrs Clarke as a small token of appreciation. She said she consistently goes out of her way to support others, whether children or adults, and is a truly valued team player.
Mrs Moir also wanted to say a special thank you for believing in her — it has meant a great deal.
This gift is also a way of recognising her generosity and kindness, which does not go unnoticed.
Well done Mrs Clarke and thank you!
